Danielson Home Company LLC. was formed in 2013 with a plan to buy and flip houses. At that time,

it was just Michael Danielson, an old truck, and a handful of tools. The first purchase was a very small and
dated home. After 6 months of hard work, tearing the house apart and painstakingly putting it back
together, it was without question the nicest house on the block, unfortunately that did not pair well
with monetary profit. Flipping houses requires a balance of making the right improvements in the right
places, not necessarily moving and replacing every interior wall, window, staircase, bathroom etc.

to create the perfect floor plan! Being forced to make those decisions was frustrating and led to an idea
that designing and building new homes might be a better option. From there, what little pride and
money was left was placed in making that happen. Working alongside many great local contractors,
Danielson Home Company has been able to gain a wealth of skills and knowhow allowing us to be
hands-on for almost the entire building process. From design, foundation, framing, insulating, siding,
roofing, finish work and landscaping we are there, doing the work. Along the way we have established
values that we believe will allow this company to grow and thrive for the long term.
First and foremost, we are dedicated to quality. We want people to be proud to tell their friends and
family that this was built by Danielson Home Company. We plan on being in the New London-Spicer
community for the long haul so keeping a good reputation is paramount. Second, we realize that we are
not perfect. When we make a mistake, we make it right. Third, we strive to provide a product that endures, not only from a quality of workmanship perspective but also aesthetically. We design spaces that draw you in, now,

and for years to come. For example, the homes on Acorn Ave. New London are
each unique with a great deal of planning and thought placed into curb appeal, flow of movement
through the home, privacy, storage, sightlines etc.
To abide by these values our company has grown slowly and steadily, making sure ambition doesn’t
outpace our attention to detail. We are building more now than ever before, so space in our schedule is
very limited. We will do our best to not take on more than we can handle so that the projects we are
undertaking can be completed with the highest level of care.
